I woke up this morning with only tea and cakes on my mind, I didn't expect to be starving, counting hours till I might find a small fruit. To be thrown at me, Aragorn, how can this be, A ranger so smart as yourself, But you don't know about second breakfast. R2 How can you go on a trek without a feast on hand, If you're going on a journey with a pack of hobbits, you ought to understand our eating habits, I've only had one breakfast yet, But you insist to go on, you're not letting up. R1 Cos you don't know about elevensies or luncheon, even when I'm flying from orcs, I'm hoping for tea on the lawn, When I get a gash on my head, all I want's some dinner, Even when the quest's hardly begun, I just want some supper after this long run. I just want some supper after this long run. R2 I've only had one breakfast yet, you insist to go on, you're not letting up. It's the Fourth Age, get up with the times, So can't we make a fire, wipe off this grime, It's the Fourth Age, get up with the times, So can't we make a fire and have some stew? R2 I've only had two breakfasts yet, you insist to go on, you're not letting up. I just want some dinner or supper. But haven't we the time for a midnight snack or a nightcap?

I left the Shire thinking adventures were a bit of fun and a good tale to tell after, But now I’ve left Bree not knowing if I’ll even live, as I’ve found nothing but disaster, This Strider fellow seems to know what’s right, But I don’t know if I’ll make it through tonight. Weathertop, you failed me and my tagalong crew, Cos now I’m completely surrounded by Ringwraiths I’m full of questions, but the most important, the unanswered one, Why’s there a morgul blade in my shoulder? It pains, it chills, it kills me slowly, Will I get to Rivendell in one piece? It burns and it seems nothing can heal me. Weathertop, you failed me and my tagalong crew, Cos now I’m completely surrounded by Ringwraiths I’m full of questions, but the most important, the unanswered one, Why’s there a morgul blade in my shoulder?

The doors are locked and we cannot get out. The drums, the drums, they come they come, deep deep deep down below. The Bridge, the second hall are gone, gone. I wrote these words in the Book of Mazarbul. I've no knowledge of how much longer we have left. 2x They are coming. They are coming. They are coming.

They wants it, for their own, the precious. I kept it in caves and crevices for so long, After it was given to me on my birthday. But they know it’s not their own to throw away. They come from dirty elves, With only ash and dust to feed us, Rope of hurt they tie on us, Knowing that we hates it more than anything else. They wants to to take it from me, But I know ways they don’t. They wants to ruin mine own. So I takes them on paths unknown. These sneaky little hobbitses, They asks us for a path to the Black Gate, That no one can walk through, no. So I take them other paths, bait them through the spider’s way. They wants to to take it from me. But I know ways they don’t. They wants to ruin mine own. So I takes them on paths unknown.

We walk among the trees, but we, unlike them Have not let our hearts become hard, Times have changed, as I see my kin Become charred in the fires. This is not our war to be fighting for This is the war of men and elves and orcs, This is fire and steel and clashing hatred, This does not concern those of Fangorn. Entmoot acknowledges those who disagree in temperament, And that this war was eminent, But we are not to play a role in this, unconcerned by the issues at hand. As we will get the land we walked, back in time. This is not our war to be fighting for This is the war of men and elves and orcs, This is fire and steel and clashing hatred, This does not concern those of Fangorn. This is not our war to be fighting for.
